Who can attend the Living Stones Retreat?
All incoming freshmen and transfer students coming to Troy University are welcome!
Is the retreat affiliated with one church or ministry?
No! The churches and ministries from the Troy area all involved in serving the retreat. It is a powerful picture of the body of Christ working together. The umbrella ministry that supports The Living Stones is All Things Ministries.
What if I don't know anyone else going to the retreat?
You're not alone! This retreat is a designed to be an easy way to make friends!
Where is the retreat?
The retreat is housed here in Troy at local churches. Sessions and events are held at FBC Troy while other local churches provide meals and sleeping arrangements.
How long is the retreat?
The Living Stones is a 3-day 2-night retreat held July 22nd-24th.
How much is the retreat?
We try to keep the cost of the retreat as low as possible. Registration is $55. If finances are an issue, there is a scholarship you can apply for to cover the cost of the retreat!
Should I bring my own bedding?
While the retreat is housed at the local churches in Troy, this year students will be sleeping in hotels! Transportation to and from the hotel will be provided.
What is the food going to be like?
Our partnered churches and ministries are providing all the meals at the retreat! If you have a food allergy please let us know so we can accommodate you.
